History of HYPE

The HYPE team was formed in December 2001. The group originally worked on a major project, funded by an Awards for All grant, which included a design workshop, a visit to a radio station, a trip to the Tate Modern and culminated in 'The People's Show' exhibition at the Museum in
October 2002.

Since then, the HYPE team have been involved in several other projects such as photography, the design and creation of a fibreglass frog, and most recently, a film project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Many of these projects have resulted in exhibitions that allow a younger view of museums and heritage.
